On May 21, attendees at Paris Healthcare Week will learn how the Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal de Créteil, a hospital located in the suburbs of Paris with more than 500 beds, is optimizing its medical scheduling management using Canadian expertise in digital health.
Matthieu Girier, Director of Human Resources at the CHI de Créteil, along with Marie-Claude Messier, Vice-President of International Development at PetalMD, will explain how Petal Scheduling, the solution developed by PetalMD, is addressing the challenges faced by the 33rd best hospital in France in managing its physicians' schedules. The presentation will be given at the Agora of Health-IT Expo (HIT) on Tuesday, May 21, at 9:15 a.m.

- Increasing complexity of schedules due to the growth of some of its departments
- Difficulty in ensuring conformity between physicians' schedules and actual work performed
- Difficulty in optimally allocating medical services when preparing schedules
This will be the second time this spring that a satisfied hospital manager will share their experiences with PetalMD solutions at a medical convention in Europe. The first was on April 2 at the 2019 HIMSS Liège conference in Belgium, when an executive of the CHC care network spoke about the PetalMD solution alongside Marie-Claude Messier.

PetalMD, Microsoft and Projetlys join forces to revolutionize medical scheduling in France
PetalMD and Projetlys – both proud partners of Microsoft – have teamed up to help improve the French health system, with a focus on modernizing medical scheduling, on-call management and communication processes between partners. The two companies will both be in attendance at the Microsoft booth (F-41) at Health-IT Expo during the 2019 edition of Paris Healthcare Week.
The PetalMD and Projetlys teams plan to give demonstrations of the web platform used by the CHI de Créteil to health professionals and managers wishing to learn more about the digitization of medical schedules. These presentations will take place on Wednesday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., directly at the Microsoft booth.
